About the adventure

Become a fresh recruit in Absalom's Edgewatch! You will get to take down Absalom's sickest serial killers, brashest bank robbers, and cruelest criminal masterminds in order to ensure the safety of Absalom's citizens. After a string of seemingly unrelated crimes is revealed as part of a much larger criminal plot, the members of one select squad find themselves at the center of things and must put their badges on the line to prevent the city from falling into chaos This curated campaign with narrow down its focus and distill the pure BUDDY COP vibes of classic movies like Lethal Weapon or Tango & Cash in a unique Victorianesque steampunk setting!

Been playing for a few weeks and it has been a blast. He is amazingly patient with players fumbling around and gives enough wiggle room for creativity but still going by the book. Highly recommend and I'll probably use him again for other games.

Edwin is a master of his craft. Incredibly knowledgeable of the Pathfinder 2E system and use of foundry VTT. He keeps flow of play going near seamlessly passing fair judgement that does not slow things down and keeps things fun for all involved. Whether you are new or an experienced player, Edwin offers everything you could want in a GM.

Edwin focuses on keeping the games fun and combats flowing. He knows the rules and doesn't sandbag players, but is also fair about applying logic and allowing common sense solutions as well as allowing house rules to foster player creativity, such as altering spells or class feats slightly to better fit character themes.

Never having really used StartPlaying to join a game before, I went out on a limb to try out for one of Edwin's games based on his glowing reviews, and I'm very glad I did. Edwin is a very well prepared GM, with fantastic maps and sets for various encounters, along with populating those maps with interesting NPCs to make them seem very real in the moment as you go from place to place. Add on top of this fun music, an enthusiasm for interesting character interactions and fantastic voices (I can personally attest that Edwin has a fantastic spooky hag voice), and a general love for using fun effects in Foundry, and you have an all around great GM. Definitely recommend anyone who can should give his games a try!

Character creation
Creating your character

Characters can be created using Foundry sheets or Pathbuilder app (although you need a premium version to be able to import your character into Foundry, it's still a great way to build characters).

The current party

starting after we finish our current campaign - Iron Gods - ETA is July looking for at least one new player beginner friendly!

What to expect
Preparing for the session

You will need a working mic, a discord account for voice chat and a web browser with hardware acceleration enabled for Foundry (not Safari). No previous knowledge of Pathfinder required - I'll be happy to introduce you, and most if not all materials are available under SRD.

What Edwin (Eater of Heroes) brings to the table

The whole Adventure Path - all monsters, maps and other stuff - is already waiting inside Foundry, with a lot of custom assets as well.

Safety
How Edwin (Eater of Heroes) creates a safe table

For a Pathfinder Adventure Path, this campaign can be rather gruesome and features horror, (mass) murderers, torture. Nothing too graphic, of course.
