His dying wish is that you would correct his mistake; return to the old farmhouse and perform the banishing ritual that will send the evil back to where it came from before it can escape.

About me

Hello! I'm Hayden, or Stark, both work for me. I've been a Dungeon Master for 5 years, and a TTRPG player for 6. I have a big love for TTRPGs. I have played D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, Avatar Legends, The Power Rangers RPG, and Vampire: The Masquerade. For running games, I mostly run D&D 5e. I run games that are balanced between narrative/roleplay and combat. I bring playlists for ambiance and combat music and love to create fun moments for everyone at the table. I've run full campaigns of Curse of Strahd and Out of the Abyss, and am currently working on a homebrew campaign to bring to my weekly home game. I have run games for new and experienced players alike, so if you're a newbie looking to try D&D for the first time, feel free to hit me up! I have no tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, or bigotry of any kind. I aim to create a space that is safe and welcoming for everyone. Also while I mostly run D&D 5e, I do love running a spooky game of Call of Cthulhu from time to time. Hopefully, I can share some fun games with you someday!

I've played through a couple campaigns with Stark as the DM, D&D 5e (not 2024). Before, and during the campaigns, Stark was very collaborative with character creation and backstory to help make my characters more naturally fit the campaign without being tailor-made to the campaign, and was flexible in what was allowed following the Rule of Cool, but not straying far, or at all, from the rules. During campaign play, Stark was very descriptive and painted scenery with words that made the area feel alive and more immersed, allowing for myself and others to more easily slip into character for RP, both in and out of combat. He's a fair DM, but there can and will be rulings that we don't agree on, but that's with any game - he makes the call and we move on with the game and circle back in downtime to figure things out if they were hazy where rules were concerned. He also makes sure that characters have their backstory elements included, including quests, dungeons, and everything else to help make your character more fulfilled. Overall, very good experiences with Stark - his table is inclusive and allows for a lot of creativity.

I had the pleasure of having Hayden as my Dungeon Master when I was brand new to D&D, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. From helping me with character creation to running my first-ever campaign, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to answer any questions I had. Hayden has a real talent for customizing campaigns to suit his audience, as I've experienced firsthand with our current Curse of Strahd campaign. It's been a thrilling adventure thanks to his creativity and ability to tailor the story to our group. Whether you're a beginner like I was or a seasoned player, Hayden’s dedication, friendly demeanor, and passion for storytelling make him an outstanding DM!

I have played a few campaigns with him as DM and I gotta say that they were among my top experiences. He's a fantastic story teller. Always on point and prepped to lead you on an incredible adventure!

I am new to the world of DnD. I’ve been an avid Dimension 20 watcher and finally wanted to get into the game. DM Stark has been great at intro-ing the game. He’s helped with character design, he’s been very communicative on rules and our characters possibilities and limits. His improv has really opened the world to us as players and really encourages us to get weird with our game. He is great at setting the mood and creating actual moments to remember. While good at letting us get weird he has also been good at keeping us on track so we don’t completely go off the rails. I’m loving the story he is working us through and appreciate the flexibility he has. Definitely has given us moments to get creative and gone with it. I fully recommend as a DM!

Excellent DM. Listens to the players and truly helps them build a collaborative story using all their characters unique abilities. Understands the rules and is comfortable explaining them to players with less experience. Overall had a great experience as his player.

DM Stark strikes a good balance between Rule of Cool and keeping a balanced game. He strives to ensure that his players have fun session and comes prepared with a variety of encounters and encounter-types for each session. He has a strong grasp on the rules and does a great job of guiding new players. He is also receptive of feedback outside of session and uses that feedback to enhance future games.
