About the adventure
Something has always felt missing in your life. You never could exactly put your finger on it; maybe you were studying the wrong thing, maybe you were not paying enough attention, but you knew in your heart of hearts that there was something more. Strange dreams at night haunt you, and you can swear that sometimes you hear voices while awake; beckoning you closer to the forest. You watch the world's state with a heavy heart, as glaciers melt, global warming increases, the air is polluted with toxin - you feel sorrow, you feel urgency. You feel rage. You wake up from your sleep, sweating profusely. You open your window to let some fresh air in, and you see the orange glow in the distance: Fire. As your rage grows, you understand: something has been missing - but soon, you will be whole. Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heritage is meant to be an introductory story for both the World of Darkness at large, and to the werewolf mythos in general. A storytelling game of environmental and spiritual horror, the story takes place in the year 2021, in Marmaris, Türkiye. You will be taking on the roles of Garou that have not experienced their first change before; until a forest fire awakens the Rage within. The key elements of the story are mystery, horror (both personal and environmental), corruption, discovering one’s identity, and of course, rage against those that slowly kill this world. Whether you are a first time Werewolf player or an experienced fighter of Gaia, this table welcomes all of you!

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! Nice meeting you! I am a writer, translator, a storyteller and a budding content creator. I have been into tabletop games for three years and have been running games professionally for about the same time. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to World of Darkness games, especially Vampire: The Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, having run multiple games in these splats. In terms of D&D, it has been always a passion that I followed through one-shots and friend games, but I decided it was finally time to delve into the community and start running longer games. I'm well-versed in the system, and I dabbled in different settings within the multiverse. As a GM I'm generally a rule of cool guy who does his best to stick by the book for the most part, but I'll never stifle your fun - especially if you are about to do something absolutely rad. I'm your characters' #1 fan when you are at the table. If you have any questions before signing up to any one of my games, I'm always active on the website and would be more than happy to answer them! I hope you can find a game that you can enjoy on my profile. Looking forward to meeting you!

Creating your character
We will go over the process of character creation together during Session 0 so we can craft unique characters that each feel special with the abilities they posses.
- This game is meant to be an introductory, beginner friendly game; all levels of experience are welcome. Please come up with a character concept beforehand and include it in the notes section of your application so I can see what kind of a character are you hoping to play in this setting. -The time of the game is negotiable; I am always open to accommodating for everyone. - Content Warning table are not dead-set; anything can be changed or removed; all topics that might potentially make you uncomfortable can be brought up during Session 0 or throughout the Chronicle. - You can create your character sheets beforehand and send it to me or wait for Session 0 for help; I'm always open for further questions about the setting and what can you incorporate into your backstories, which will be integrated into the Chronicle.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎤 A decent microphone is a must. 📷 Cameras are optional, but highly encouraged, as I believe seeing each other enhances our roleplay. 🔊A Discord account (free to register). 🎲 Roll20 account (for the table. Also free to register). 📄 Detailed but brief backstory (1 to 3 pages should suffice). 🎓 Beginners are welcome; I will explain the rules and the system as we play.

How Onur Temel creates a safe table
I tend to go mostly by the rules stated in rulebooks but I may occasionaly bend them or tweak them to help players feel a bit more versatile with the powers/skills they possess or increase the difficulty of encounters to challenge them. We will hold a Session 0 to go over all the content warnings, as well as all of the possible Lines and Veils you could have in order to create a safe, welcoming table. I will send a consent form where you can write down any potential topics that I might have accidentally missed or thought about afterwards. We will also use Session 0 to establish the boundaries between the players, as well as the relationship of their characters. Before the start and after the end of every session we'll spend about 15 minutes at least to chat, talk about any potential issues, to go over what happened in the story to identify Bleed and to help you cope with it and leave it behind at the table! As far as X, N & O cards, you can simply message me during play with either of these letters in bold font and in caps, and I will appropriately handle the situation.
