I have been playing DnD on Geoff's table for the past few months, long enough that I feel I can drop a fair appraisal. In a word, Geoff has been fantastic: he really knows how to keep things exciting and fun. Geoff is very experienced in delivering "Phandelver and Below", such that the world is delivered beautifully. Rich in plot, characters, and encounters, every session is packed with moments that keep us hooked. Geoff is awesome at making sure everyone in the group feels included. They listened to our feedback and our ideas and checks in to ensure everyone is having great time. The vibe was always positive and collaborative, which made the game even better. Overall, Geoff has given us some of the best online DnD sessions to date. If you're looking for a DM who can deliver epic adventures, create a great group dynamic, and make the game super immersive, he is the one! Highly recommend!

Pros: Does good voices sets the scene well Good maps Cons: Adversarial GM (he is always right and he makes strange rulings) Not in it for the shared story only cares about his story Rules Lawyer but doesnt actually know the rules, comes up with his own and is very rude about it. Blind/heavily obscured rules, jump rules, movement rules, grapple and restrain rules.... I prefer rule of cool, we are all having a good time telling a story together.

Joined mid campaign. 😅 & It was my first time using Foundry, he was so patient and helpful, all while keeping the game flowing smoothly. I cannot wait for next week!

Geoff is a wonderful DM. He's knowledgeable of the rules, patient with player dialogue and decision making, forgiving on when players forget lore and firm (but fair) when players make incorrect calls that counter the rules. His strengths include a strong grasp of the game rules, content, narration and voice acting. Hes great at giving players time and space to think things out, but knows how to inject or spur action to keep the game rolling when appropriate. I've loved every game I've played with him so far and would recommend 10/10 to any other players looking for a DM. Keep it up, Geoff!
