About the adventure
Obojima is in danger, and the people of the island didn't know what to do! So...they cast a pretty wide net. Calling on basically every Isekai trope they could think of the brought you and your comrades to their seemingly idyllic island and just hope it's enough to stop what's coming. A fun Ghibliesque romp through the island of Obojima, where there is magic in the mundane, the spirit world is literally around the corner, and heroes come from...wherever!
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!
Really looking forward to this one, should be a fun mix of a light hearted world with dark undertones in the story. Think Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke. This is using the 2014 5e rules.

You'll need Discord, Roll20, and a mic. That's it. Anything else is gravy.
What I provide
Hello! I'm your friendly neighborhood DM and I'll bring all the DM stuff! Maps, monsters, music, and most importantly the story! I've been doing this for...25ish years, and love the hobby more than most anything. Playing in a Ghibli-esque world will be new and different, but I've been loving the content since there was content to love, so I'm pretty confident.
Gameplay details
This is a PG game, sure there will be spiders and fire, but for the most part this shouldn't really have a lot of triggers. If something bothers you, we'll fade to black, we're all here to have fun, and Obojima in specific is kinda comfort fantasy.

How will character creation work
We'll do this during session 0 for the most part. You'll want to have an idea. The main thing is to pick an Isekai trope (ie. reincarnation, magical girl, summoned through a random portal, ect.) Oh, we'll be using the Obojima book, and 2014 5e, because reasons.
