Learn to Play D&D | Dib's Wagon of Doom | Level 2
About the adventure
The nefarious master wrestler Dib, the goblin, is "terrorizing" the streets of the town. Gathering to him a new batch of dim minions, Dib has transformed a stolen merchant wagon into a machine of war. Or is it? The lives of several potted plants and a few market stalls depend on you! This is a light-hearted and quirky adventure. Pre-made characters make it easy to jump right in. Ever wanted to play a gnoll, a trollkin, a large bear or a bard who casts “Ale-Dritch Blast”? These are some of the characters you can choose from! About the Game This is a single session, known as a one-shot. 2-3 hour session hosted on Roll20. Audio on Discord. Experienced or new players welcome. ABOUT AJAX DM Ajax DM offers paid weekly games you can count on. Allison is a great GM for new players and veterans alike. She knows the rules and is dedicated to having a safe, inclusive table. She's very patient and kind. I can't recommend her enough! She runs a great variety of D&D, Kobold Press and non-D&D content, so please check her out--she's probably running something you'll want to play. Allison also incorporates music into her games, which adds to the atmosphere. She's always willing to roll with whatever your party or character wants to do, and really rewards player creativity.
I'm new to StartPlaying, and Allison was the first GM I went with. So far, the game has been everything I've hoped for. I enjoy just sitting down and playing. As someone who is normally always the DM in my group, it's nice to have a place where I can just play the game and I don't have to worry about... well, anything other than being a player. I do a mix of playing in person and playing online, and Allison makes this easy as well. She knows the tools, and we spend our time playing. I can't stress this enough: I just play D&D. No fuss, no muss. The games are reliable, fun, and makes Monday's a day to look forward to. If you are skeptical of paying a GM like I was, don't worry. Honestly, it's cheaper than the snacks I would normally bring, and I feel better because I know the amount of time and effort goes into making these games run smoothly. Edit: updating this review. I’ve joined a second campaign with this DM. So, that should tell you what you need to know.
Right from the start, AjaxDM was able to draw us into the story and to create a sense of excitement and dramatic tension. AjaxDM was prepared, patient, and engaging. She really has a knack for facilitating role-play for her players in a natural way that doesn't feel forced. You cannot go wrong with AjaxDM!
I'm playing for the first time in almost 30 years and Ajax has been very patient with me as I relearn the game, and has done a great job of teaching me the rules of the game and how the online interface is used. It's been a great experience and I intend to join her games in the future.

A fun romp with Dib and his crazy goblins as they "discover" a town. Great for new and experienced players.
