About the adventure
Nestled on the northern Sword Coast, between Neverwinter Wood and the Sword Mountains, is the town of Phandalin. Centuries ago, Phandalin was a thriving settlement with deep ties to its neighboring communities. But then bandits overran the town, and Phandalin lay abandoned for centuries. Only in the past few years have settlers built a new village on the ruins of the old. These townsfolk hope to grow Phandalin through hard work, camaraderie, and the shared purpose of building a lasting home. Threatening their efforts and their survival are bandits, brigands, and monsters.

GM_Snoots led a really fun oneshot introduction to Shadowdark. He got everyone up to speed on the rules and created a suspenseful game that was fun and challenging with opportunity for good roleplay as well as combat. I'm looking forward to the next change I get to join one of his games.

How to prepare
You will need a microphone and a Discord account. Preferably a DnD Beyond account. Both of these can be made for free. Aside from that, bring yourself and prepare to have fun!

Gameplay details
We will have a Session 0 to get acquainted with everyone and discuss lines and veils or any other concerns you may have. During Session 0 we will jump into Foundry so those who have never seen it can take a quick tour.

How will character creation work
If you have DnD Beyond I will share the PHB on there with you, from there you can create a character. Once that is done, send me the link and i will import it into Foundry. Start your character at level one. If you prefer we can create your character in Foundry.
