Legendary Monsters: Gems of Catastrophe (lvl 14 one shot)

He was very helpful for someone that is just starting out. He helped me remember abilities I forgot I had and made sure I knew how to do everything. He isn't just good for beginners though as he has a through knowledge of the handbook and was very communicative when I had questions outside of the game. I would highly recommend. I have been having so much fun and look forward to every Thursday.

It was a blast!! 😻 DM has a neat Rule of Cool system: inspiration all the time for coming up with creative, cool & fun solutions. We had a great crew for the story. Awesome times.

I've been playing with Sebastian for over a year now and just wanted to update my review. First, if you get a game with Sebastian, you will be welcomed into an inclusive environment with not only the DM, but other players who are pretty welcome and chill, especially so if they're regulars like myself! There is always room for everyone to shine, especially if you work together as a team. That said, Sebastian runs challenging but fair games that are combat heavy. He makes a point to let people get their character quirks and RP out, but be aware that the challenge of combat is my main draw to him as a DM. Don't be intimidated! Sebastian is quick and encyclopedic with the rules, and isn't afraid to let people have their "rule of cool" moments. All in all, expect a fun challenge among cool people!

Sebastian invited me to join a one-shot as a way to get a feel for his GM style prior to jumping into a campaign with him, and within the first few minutes I knew I wanted in to the larger story. Great world builder, very knowledgeable of the rules (reminding players about features they had available if they wanted to use them), but not afraid to let the rule of cool supersede mechanics. On the contrary, he rewards creativity and even when the rolls weren't in the party's favor, they played out in entertaining manners that weren't overly punishing. Definitely looking forward to more!

Sebastian is a great game master! He keeps the action going and doesn't throw the same old monsters at us. Whether playing in a campaign or one of his one-shots I always have a good time.
