About the adventure
This adventure is for those who like a balance between roleplay and combat. On one hand is the town of Redtower and its many colorful inhabitants, on the other are the mysteries of an old and largely unknown underground fortress a few miles from town.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I started DMing as a way to express my creative side and put my knack for writing to use. My adventures vary a lot in terms of roleplay and combat balance, I'm always trying to strike the right balance for the players at my table. I hold myself personally responsible for the fun of every player at my table. It means everything to me that a player recalls our campaigns with nothing but nostalgia and fondness.

Creativity
Storytelling
Knows the Rules
He's a well-rounded early-career GM. I would call him a "lawful good" style game master. He sticks generally to rules as written, but will go outside of them to reward player creativity. Solid improv skills and does a good bit of prep work. Strikes a good balance between combat and roleplay. Definitely a good GM for new players, highly recommend.
He was super fun! He gave all of the characters in the world great voices and personality, and was overall great with handling the story and situations. Even when the players did something funky, he was prepared for it. All the sessions I've been in with him as dm have gone over super smoothly. I definitely recommend him!!
Character creation
Creating your character
Your character will start at level one and I will personally walk you through making them. Character creation will happen either before the session (upon request) or at the start of our first session. We will be using fantasy grounds.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
My sessions require only a decent microphone and a stable internet connection (no webcam required). The software we use will be fantasy grounds, which I am more than willing to offer guided installations of upon request.
What Brendan brings to the table
I have a deep familiarity with the systems and rules of both fantasy grounds and 5e. All resources for the game will be provided to you within the software.

How Brendan creates a safe table
In this campaign the themes are generally lighter. Before our first session I like to have a conversation with all my players about lines and veils of my campaigns. We will also make sure that we know what each player is individually comfortable with. If at any time a player feels uncomfortable or unsafe, they may walk away from the session, no questions asked. Safety Tools that I use: The Luxton Technique, Lines and Veils, and Open Door
