Embark on an epic weekly D&D campaign inspired by the beloved anime Hunter x Hunter! Set in a vibrant, mysterious world filled with danger, wonder, and opportunities for greatness, you and your fellow adventurers will undertake the legendary Hunter Exams, a grueling test of strength, intellect, and cunning. Those who succeed will join the ranks of the elite-licensed Hunters with access to exclusive resources, knowledge, and untold riches. But beware: the path is fraught with rivals, perilous environments, and moral dilemmas that will challenge not just your skills but your very principles. I have tried to keep the campaign and world as close to Togashi's vision of his world as possible. I intend for this campaign to go quite far after the exams, depending on how those turn out. How to prepare
High speed internet connection, headphones and a mic are needed. Camera's will not be required unless you so wish. Free account on Discord and D&D Beyond Think about what you would like to accomplish or explore through this campaign Find an image for your character and send this through to me before session 1 so I can create your character token Create a detailed backstory for your character and send this to me before session 1 Include how your character discovered their own nen
What I provide
I will bring a plot heavy, vast world for players to explore. Sessions will be hosted on Foundry (including maps, sound tracks, etc), using Discord for audio purposes. I will provide a Discord chat for the campaign where the group can get to know each other better, discuss ideas and strategize between sessions, and provide feedback. I embrace the Rule of Cool, as long as it can be explained. I provide the following books: Players Handbook Xanathar's Guide to Everything Tasha's Cauldron of Everything Sword Coast Adventurers Guide All official books are allowed. Warning: AI art may be used during the campaign.
Gameplay details
Session 0 will be used to set expectations for the campaign for both myself, and each of the players, and lines and veils will be established. Should any tags concern you feel free to outline them in Session 0 and I can tailor the content accordingly. My messages are open and all players are encouraged to privately message me should they wish to raise any concerns, both during the session or after. After each session the group will have a check in to see how everyone is doing and provide feedback if they have any.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created in Session 0 (should you miss this please organize a 1 on 1 session to create your character). Characters creation will happen on D&D Beyond and then I will input these into Foundry. Stats will work on a point buy system. Session 0 is highly recommended for players to develop characters, craft back stories that can be integrated into the game, and connect the different characters should players wish. We will start at level 3
