Sets the Mood
Oliver is a phenomenal GM. His enthusiasm is contagious, his humour is sharp, and his GMing feels alive and full of heart. For our PF2e party, he has crafted a reactive world where player choice matters and backstories are meaningfully woven into the narrative. In my opinion, he strikes the perfect balance between party dialogue, combat, and exploration. He’s flexible, rules-savvy, and encourages creativity without letting things derail. Every player gets their moment, and even the silliest character ideas are given real weight and story impact. Out of game, he's constantly building on our Foundry experience, experimenting with new modules, creating maps, engaging with players, and creating custom questlines and hooks. You'd be hard pressed to find a GM that is more infectiously invested in his games than Oliver. If you get the chance to play in one of his games - do it. He’s one of the best.
I've only had a couple sessions with Oliver, but so far each one has been conducted with a high amount of effort and enthusiasm. Oliver knows how to strike a perfect balance between RP, combat encounters and immersive world-building and storytelling, depending on what your party prefers. In our game, Oliver has crafted a world where we have a high degree of player choice while maintaining a light and homey feeling. It really feels that our decisions will impact the flow of the story moving forward, which our party tends to prefer. Overall, a solid experience, and I'm keen to see how things develop moving forward.
Playing with Oliver has genuinely been one of the biggest highlights of my D&D/PF2e journey. The amount of thought and heart he puts into each session is unreal. He makes sure every character feels seen and woven into the world, tying our backstories into the main story with clever and meaningful twists. The world he’s built is imaginative, immersive, and just a blast to explore. Whether it’s high-stakes combat or goofy roleplay, he nails the balance every time. Having him as our GM is honestly a gift, and I can’t recommend him enough. If you get the chance to play in one of his games—go for it.
This man What can I say about this man The amount of detail and creativity that this person puts forward into their game process blows me away every time I see them. Their artistry is masterful. I always have fun when we play together. Just a fantastic person to play with, through and through.
