About me
Hello world! I'm Francesco and I'm an avid roleplaying nerd! I've been playing since 2002 and I jumped around among a whole bunch of different games, from more narrative ones to crunchier ones. As a GM, I particularly enjoy cinematic adventures, with exciting encounters and scenes, where the players are free (and encouraged) to try the craziest plans, the most daring actions and in general to express their creativity in full. I never say no. The other thing I love in roleplaying games is player's choice, with mostly moral gray areas, where there's no clear Evil and Good. I do my best to make sure that the players are invested in the story and campaign, in the npcs and their plights, so that they can make conscious choices and then live with the consequences. I use mostly Foundry VTT, and tend to run highly automated games with highly detailed immersivity tools (well thought out graphics, tokens, music, SFX, animations and the like). I truly believe that visuals and audio help people with being more immersed in the game, so if you decide to play with me, expect plenty of images, atmosphere, music and everything that can help your immersion. Are you a veteran player? I'll make sure you find something new and unexpected in my games. Are you new to rpgs? I'll make sure you have the time to learn the ropes and will guide you every step of the way. The only thing left, if you're interested, is to try one of my games. I can assure you that you won't regret it!

Sphinx is an amazing GM. We played a Draw Steel adventure and it's been great fun. With a strong grasp on the rules, an uncanny talent for narration and immersive descriptions, and the fun of his players in mind, he was able to weave a story full of twists and turns. Combat was super engaging, the npcs were interesting and very well defined, and in general we had an amazing time playing with him. Highly recommended!
Sir Beef ran a hella fun game! I was new to the system and he was flawless in explaining the rules while playing, without slowing down the game while still making sure that I knew all that I could do at any given moment. He allowed for player's creativity, breaking the rules when necessary to give us a chance to have cool moments, while keeping a firm grip on the adventure. His npcs were humane in the right way, with quirks and flaws, and he gave us all the liberties to push the one-shot in the direction that we wanted, without ever losing a beat. All in all it was an amazing game, I absolutely recommend him for a great Dragonbane game!
Deirdre ran a hella fun game! With all players new to the system, she went through the rules and character creation with clarity, helping us being set up in record time. When the game started it was clear from the beginning that she had a solid grasp of the rules, and a clear vision of the adventure. She allowed for player creativity to shine through, making the world alive with well acted npcs, cool cinematic actions, and great descriptions. If you want to try Pirate Borg (or any other game she might run), I can't recommend her enough. You will definitely have a great time!
I played a Monster of the Week one shot with Aaron, and I must say, it was one of the best games I played in a long time. His enthusiasm was infectious. You could see that he was enjoying running the game immensely, and that he really was a fan of the players. He was great at guiding me and another player, both new to the system, to ensure we could gey the most put of the game, while masterfully weaving the story and the atmosphere. He was open to ideas and shenanigans, while still keeping control of the pace and tone of the one shot. Everyone got their moment in the spotlight and we had a blast. I can't recommend him enough!
It's Mörk Borg with pirates! Everything's better with pirates! Using the famous Borg system, Pirate Borg is a fun romp through the apocalyptic version of the Caribbeans. It has all the same pros and cons as Mörk Borg: a simple and deadly system (too simple at time), great book design (which can make reading it a bit hard), amazing art... But the setting is way easier to get into, compared to the doom-metal landscape of Mörk Borg, and the apocalypse is toned down enough to make it more appetible for more people. It unites deadly apocalyptic danger with the feel and desire for adventure and discovery, in a blend that is definitely worth playing.
