About me

I've been running and playing TTRPG's for over 44 years. Have owned more games than I've played and had a ton of fun over the years. As a Player I like to have interesting characters, whether broken/flawed or just strangely charming and fun-loving and tend to focus more on the role-play aspects, but also build characters that can be effective in a variety of roles and situations. As a GM I really like encourage the players to get into their characters heads, come up with concepts that are more than a collection of stats and mechanics combinations as well as developing out backgrounds/stories to bring into any given campaign that way they feel like there is some buy-in to the story that is unfolding. I also prefer to run games that are a mix of Roleplay, Combat, Adventure, Discovery, Mystery and Intrigue with the occasional romance if desired. I live by a few rules as a Person/Player/GM; 1 - Don't be a Dick! It's the Golden rule in just about every religion in the world. I do not tolerate Racism, Sexism or Discrimination of any kind. There's enough of that shit going on out in the world, don't bring it into the game! 2 - No Generative AI; not for Art or Story or otherwise. because a; I know quite a few artists would could use the money for paid work. b; the environmental and local infrastructure damage alone is more than concerning. c; the fact that Over-wealthy tech Bros are pushing it so hard tells me there are hidden factors to be very concerned about. 3 - No Politics in Games or Game Channels. Again to much BS going on to bring it into any game. 4 - I like to invoke the "Die Hard Effect" as a GM, meaning if and when you get into a combat it will be brutal and people may die, but when you come out the other side beaten to within an inch of your life you will KNOW you earned the right to live and claim whatever treasure is to be had.

Dan Whills It

Played 4 sessions

Dan is a really excellent GM who clearly loves what he does. he puts a lot of attention to the little details as well as making an interesting and engaging story with lots of good drama and characters that you will love or hate or possibly both! More than willing to work with players on developing interesting their own characters story and backgrounds. He is also a deft hand at handling the curveballs players always throw at GM's. Definitely greta fun to game with and looking forward to another opportunity to do so.

Ethan (GM Viper)

Played 23 sessions

I've only played a few sessions with Ethan so far but as a long time gamer and GM I have been having a TON of fun, which is really the reason why we play GAMES right? Ethan does a great job of bouncing around the party, even when separated, and making sure everyone has equal screen time. He's great at running with and adapting to the moment and handling some of the crazy things our party can get up to. He has very good at coming up with voices on for new NPCs on the fly, not to mention creating them on the fly (Hedghog Mafia!). I look forward to many more fun sessions to come!
