About Ethan (AggressiveViper) C.
Hi! My name is Ethan, and I'm hopefully your new GM! I have been GM-ing for 5 years now, and it truly is my passion! I started Gm-ing because I was having a tough time finding a table to play at, and figured I'd make one myself! That decision has turned into multiple tables, full length campaigns, and some of the best memories I've made. I am a lifelong nerd, a military veteran, and a father. I can't wait to see what kind of stories we can tell together!

How Ethan (AggressiveViper) C. runs games
I personally tend to run games in homebrew campaign settings that are created over weeks of writing in my spare time. I prefer a roleplay-heavy game, with combat inserted when the story calls for it. However, I have run all sorts of games! I have run games for tables of 10 that have never played before, and some of the most experienced players out there. I have run games of pure chaos, and games that could have been recorded and turned into an audiobook. I am a GM that believes that each table enjoys the game differently, and therefore I should adapt my style so that everyone has the most enjoyable experience that they can! Can't wait to play with you!

I prep by
Reading through my notes from the previous session, and spending a good 1-3 hours writing content for the potential directions the party can go. This includes creating battlemaps and maps for new regions.

Ethan (AggressiveViper) C.'s ideal table
At my table, you can expect a chill, story-first atmosphere where roleplay drives most of the action. I give players a world full of choices instead of a single “right” path, so the group has plenty of room to explore, investigate, scheme, or chase whatever catches their interest. That being said, each campaign I run has a story that I have spent lots of time creating. Follow the threads, or ignore them entirely! This works best for players who like stepping into their characters, taking initiative, and helping steer the direction of the campaign without needing constant prompts. If you enjoy digging into the world, interacting with NPCs, and pushing the story forward in a sandbox setting, you’ll fit in perfectly.

I love it when a player
uses roleplay moments to build connections with their fellow players and increase group cohesion.
I think min/maxing...
is valid! Make the best character you can! Just remember that most of the time overcoming failure/flaws is what makes characters memorable!
