About Quiescent Solun
I’m a GM who thrives on strategy, creativity, and cinematic moments under pressure. I design encounters that challenge players to think, collaborate, and take bold risks, whether fine-tuning a mech in Lancer or exploring mythic realms in Bastionland. I’m fair and balanced, rewarding smart, heroic, or clever play, letting players learn from mistakes, and always keeping fun front and centre. My games are immersive, tactical, and story-driven, with every choice carrying weight and every session crafted to be exciting, memorable, and rewarding.

I became a GM because
I wanted an excuse to hang out with old friends.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Mythic Bastionland, Lancer, Imperium Maledictum.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Fair. Tactical. Immersive.
How Quiescent Solun runs games
I run tactical, crunchy games where positioning, teamwork, and mech builds really matter. I love creating encounters that challenge strategy and coordination, and I always reward clever play. I’m fair and flexible, if you make a mistake, it’s no problem to fix it, because at the end of the day it’s about having fun. Story is important too. I weave mech combat, military drama, and character-driven plots into each mission. NPCs feel real and react to your choices, and roleplay is encouraged but never forced. I also run Mythic Bastionland for a slower, story-driven pace, a rules-light, poetic world of knights, myths, and fading legacies. Sessions run on FoundryVTT with Discord, and I’m happy to help new players learn the system.

I deal with rules issues by staying calm, flexible, and fair. If a mistake happens, I resolve it on the spot and adjust as needed, always keeping the game flowing. My goal is to support smart play without judgment and make sure everyone’s having fun.

I prep by building detailed encounters, maps, and missions that challenge strategy and teamwork. I plan story beats and NPC motivations, but I leave room to adapt to player choices. I also make sure FoundryVTT and Discord are ready, and I’m happy to help players with character builds before sessions
Rules are...
Rules are more like flexible guidelines, designed to keep the game running smoothly and ensure everyone is having fun. They set a framework, but the focus is always on creativity, collaboration, and memorable moments.
Quiescent Solun's ideal table
I run games that focus on tactical challenge, player-driven decisions, and worlds that feel alive and grounded. My tables are a good fit for players who enjoy mastering mechanics, collaborating strategically, and engaging with stories that genuinely respond to their choices. I’m not about over-the-top drama or showboating, I give players space to roleplay as they like, but the core of my games is problem-solving, memorable mech moments in Lancer, or rich, meaningful decisions in narrative-driven games like Mythic Bastionland. New players are always welcome, and I’ll guide you through what you need. We usually follow rules-as-written, but if something slows the game down or breaks the flow, I’ll adjust to keep things fair, fast, and fun.
