About Quiescent Solun

I’m a long-time gamer and worldbuilder drawn to experiences that reward strategy, creativity, and cinematic moments under pressure. I first discovered Lancer for its deep tactical combat, intricate mech customisation, and rich sci-fi setting, and stayed to craft missions where every choice carries weight and consequences feel real. More recently, I’ve fallen for Mythic Bastionland, a poetic, rules-light system of knights, myths, and glories. Its strength lies in immersive, character-driven pla, a world that remembers every failure and honours every sacrifice. What sets my games apart is the way I design encounters: whether in a besieged city or a shadowed forest facing monsters and myths, they push players to think, collaborate, and take bold risks. I create stories that reward smart planning, daring moves, and meaningful character growth, whether fine-tuning a mech or exploring a mythic realm.

How Quiescent Solun runs games

I run crunchy, tactical games where positioning, teamwork, and mech customization matter. Expect a strong focus on combat mechanics with well-balanced encounters that challenge both strategy and coordination. I love leaning into the tactical depth Lancer offers and giving players chances to shine through smart play and clever builds. That said, story is never sidelined. I weave espionage, military drama, and character-driven plots into each mission. While I don’t do heavy character voices, NPCs stay grounded, memorable, and reactive to your choices. For those who want a different pace, I also run Mythic Bastionland—a poetic, narrative-driven game of knights, myths, and fading legacies. It’s rules-light, focusing on storytelling, meaningful decisions, and rich atmosphere. Roleplay is encouraged but not forced in all games—whether you’re a chatterbox pilot or a quiet operator, there’s room for you at the table. Sessions run on FoundryVTT with Discord for comms, and I’m happy to help new players learn the systems.

Rules are...

Rules are more like flexible guidelines, designed to keep the game running smoothly and ensure everyone is having fun. They set a framework, but the focus is always on creativity, collaboration, and memorable moments.

Quiescent Solun's ideal table

I run games that focus on tactical challenge, player-driven decisions, and worlds that feel alive and grounded. My tables are a good fit for players who enjoy mastering mechanics, collaborating strategically, and engaging with stories that genuinely respond to their choices. I’m not about over-the-top drama or showboating, I give players space to roleplay as they like, but the core of my games is problem-solving, memorable mech moments in Lancer, or rich, meaningful decisions in narrative-driven games like Mythic Bastionland. New players are always welcome, and I’ll guide you through what you need. We usually follow rules-as-written, but if something slows the game down or breaks the flow, I’ll adjust to keep things fair, fast, and fun.

I’m for a vibe that’s collaborative, creative, and fun. Where players can take risks, explore the world, and make bold choices. Whether pulling off a perfect mech combo in Lancer or uncovering a mythic realm’s secrets, the focus is on shared stories and memorable moments.

I love it when a player

When a player comes up with a clever plan, takes a bold risk, or finds a creative way to solve a problem, moments that make the table feel alive.
