About me
My love of RPGs started with the Holmes Box Set. Since then, I've played, GMed, admired and analyzed numerous game systems. I enjoy testing home brews and rules tweaks that fit the style of a particular table. Having spent time designing games and scenarios, I believe authors and publishers often have good reasons for choosing their RAW. But I'm a firm believer in 'the rule of cool'. And I always try and work with my players so that they can say and do (or at least try to do, subject to the will of the dice) what they want.

Had a lot of fun playing in a Mothership one-shot that Jim ran. He was great at helping players who were new to the system, and he reached out to everyone in advance of the game to ensure lines and veils were respected. I also appreciate that the VTT was a basic tool that helped manage a divided party, and it didn't include excess tactical information. I'd happily play in another of his games and would readily recommend him to other players.
Robert ran an introductory Daggerheart 1-shot, teaching the basics of the game as well as explaining some of the more complicated, advanced rules. He was enthusiastic, had an easy-going GM style, and was patient with those (such as myself) who had no prior experience with the system. I'd happily play with Robert again and recommend him as a GM, especially for those interested in getting experience with Daggerheart.
Travis ran a Starfinder 2e 1-shot, an introduction to a longer story arc. As a new player to SF, I appreciated that he was helpful in teaching the basic mechanics of the system. He gave us the option of character creation or pregens, so he ensured everyone was playing the character of their choice. The game ran smoothly, and he managed both the combat and the exploration scenes of the session very ably. I'd recommend Travis to anyone interested in playing Starfinder.
