Garrett was really friendly and caught me up as we went along - this was my first session joining an ongoing game. He runs a really fun mix offering players choices / what quests sound fun and interesting and what plot threads to go after.

Session ??? Update - Playing in two games; both are great - very different. After about a year of playing with Leland, still having a blast! He's also ramped up the enemies and after a few months of stomping the baddies, the difficulty curve is starting to spike. Players running out of spell slots / abilities and tension ratcheting. It's a great time! Highly recommend! Session ?? Update - Still having a great time! Great GM! Session 2 Update - Tons of great NPCs, good hook / cliff-hanger reveals; fun mood. Session 1 Update - Put us into a bit of excitement / danger, strongly RP'd a TON of NPCs (each with a unique character voice and mannerism) - made sure to give each PC a spotlight / dedicated interaction and popcorn across the group while everyone finds their footing. It was a great intro to the campaign. It was session zero - but it was a super fun, inclusive table - setting up boundaries, making everyone feel super welcome. Some really interesting / creative ways to weave the character's backstories / why they're where they are at the beginning together. Super creative and fun all around.

Great use of the tabletop and really invested in the setting!
