Great GM with terrific time management skills. I highly recommend you get yourselves booked into the one shots he runs, they are well worth your time. I played in his Mothership one shot, which is not a system I had any experience with. However, his explanations made it incredibly easy to follow along and get immersed in the world he sets up for the adventure. He's also incredibly friendly and allows you to be creative with your character concepts, which if you're anything like me, you have a billion of.
I truly wish I could just click on more than three descriptors for Euan, as he is an extremely well rounded GM with a true knack for creative and engaging storytelling that just helps you immerse in the world immediately. I had the pleasure to be a part of their table for the Dagger-Heist three-shot, which was set in Faerun and made use of the Daggerheart system. From session one to session three, Euan ensured the table was, at all times, courteous, safe, inclusive and fun. He has unique voices for all of his NPCs and characters, the ambient music is just right, and the tone set is just perfect. The heist had real stakes and tension, but didn't take away from our fun. It felt like Euan was always "on our side" and managed to throw a lot of realistic challenges at us without making us feel overwhelmed. It is the just right level of challenge that TTRPG players hanker for, and to make it so dynamic is truly a testament to his experience and his skill with this craft. I highly recommend anyone to get themselves into one of Euan's games if you can! There is absolutely no doubt that every game is riveting, and is worth every minute of your time!
Schism is a fun GM, and they know how to set the mood rather perfectly. Through a precisely crafted combination of appropriate music, unique voices, a solid grasp on the rules, and letting players make their own choices and having fun, they strike the perfect chord with any player lucky enough to be a part of their player. If you're looking for a game that walks the balance of sensible combat and plentiful roleplay opportunities, Schism has got you covered! I would recommend their games to anyone in a heartbeat!
Krystal is a very fun DM to play with, and allows a lot of breathing room for players of all experience levels. I'm currently signed up to their Humblewood Game, and though we're just getting started and playing prologues, I think she does such a great job at getting each character established in the world, and with each other. As an experienced GM, she has so many ways and tools to get the players comfortable in their characters and in the world at large. There is never a moment I felt as though she would ever say "no" to my ideas, and finds amazing ways to "yes, and..." the things I suggest or prompt. She's an incredibly lovely person, which just makes the whole process a lot smoother and doesn't feel awkward at all. She also naturally fosters party cohesiveness and bonding without feeling overbearing, which can be quite the tricky plank to walk. I will recommend Krystal as a GM to anyone, no matter your D&D/TTRPG background. The Humblewood setting is insanely fun, and only thrives with Krystal's flourishes and flairs that she adds to the game, and to our general D&D experience over all. Join her games with no hesitation: you will not regret it at all!
Having had JV at my table as a player was always a treat, so of course I was curious to see how he runs his adventures. From Session 0 itself, I was truly hooked into the game and I find myself actually excited about Mondays now! He has a strong grasp on the rules of DND, he makes pre-made modules super interesting and fun to play, he always gives his NPCs different voices, and he has patience that is the size of a mountain. He fields all questions with an open mind, and without making you feel like you're stupid for not knowing something. I cannot recommend JV enough for all players; doesn't matter your experience level with DND.
