As someone who has only recently met KP and played two sessions with them as of this post, I can maybe give a bit of insight for newcomers to their games. I'd like to start with that from the get-go KP made sure to get to know me a little and they themselves were really open and social in our first talk, which made it really easy to get a nice comfortable vibe going before even starting to discuss what I wanted out of the game and my potential character of which hey also made sure they had a good understanding of. It became very clear to me that KP is really good at communicating with their players. They wanted to make sure I'd fit in not only for the sake of the already established group but for me as well. I personally think communication and being able to express what you are comfortable and uncomfortable with before jumping in a game is key to a solid group and KP made sure those boxes were crossed. During the character creation process, KP was very responsive to questions, open to flavourful ideas, and also appreciative of the care and thought I had apparently put into my character. Something I thought was just really nice to hear from them. Together we also thought of a way to try and weave my character into the narrative so that it would feel more "natural" for me to come into the already established group (to my own request), which made it easier to get into the group both IC and OOC. The sessions themselves are filled with flavourful descriptions of areas and NPCs, immersive and funny voice-acting, fitting ambient music, and just a great general atmosphere with plenty of laughs around the virtual table. The first impressions were fantastic and despite spending so little time with KP and the group.. I already feel very comfortable and trusted with the lot of them. Not to mention that I found myself quickly looking forward to future sessions!
