Ollie is a very thoughtful, inclusive, and creative DM who's great at encouraging deep roleplay, making the world feel alive, and inviting players to help shape it in order to have fulfilling, memorable experiences. You will have a great time at his table.

**BEWARE.** I've been using Startplaying for a long time and this is my first negative review. This is also the first time I've felt truly disrespected and insulted by a DM in my entire time playing ttrpgs. He spent a LOT of session zero plugging two other systems as if the last thing he actually wanted to play was D&D. Then the first session began on a featureless map. No narration of how we got there. He kept asking US to do ALL the narration for HIM. For the ENTIRE SESSION. He made zero effort to describe the environment. Combat was bland and uninspired. We were Lvl 5 and facing outnumbered CR 3 monsters in featureless hallways. I was having some technical difficulties with my mic throughout which caused my turns to be delayed by a couple minutes (not a typical issue for me and I quickly fixed it later). Afterwards, he kicks me from the server. No discussion. No warning. Nothing. Just kicks me and says it's because of my mic issues, calling me a "disruptive" player. Never again.

Outstanding DM. Knows the rules well. Creates very engaging narrative hooks and very challenging combats. Highly recommended.

Playing Mike's Planescape campaign was an absolute delight. He's one of the best DMs I've ever had. His worlds are packed with timeless lore, but also have their own unique flavor which make them particularly memorable. His encounters are challenging. He welcomes and rewards player creativity. He adjudicates disputes fairly. Most importantly, he's very communicative and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend joining his table if you have the opportunity.

Blake provides his players with a inclusive, fast-paced, immersive experience. I had a lot of fun in the high-level one shot he ran and would be happy to sit at his table again in the future.
