About Zed
I've been my friends forever GM since 3.5 and 1e pathfinder and have loved doing it! During Covid, I really started to enjoy playing DnD using Foundry and Roll20, being able to draw up my own maps and tokens without an expensive trip to the game shop. I focus on running official modules and one shots to make things a bit easier while I draw up my own custom campaign based on things that my players enjoy! My style tends to be survival and RP heavy sessions instead of just gathering numbers, and I really enjoy gothic/dark settings. My first question to you as a player will always be "What are you comfortable with and what is a hard limit" to ensure everyone is comfortable and having a fun time, and the end of sessions will most often be me asking for feedback on my performance as a DM so I can always improve. I am also a streamer (a VTuber nonetheless) but sessions will NOT be streamed/recorded without unanimous consent from the group.

I became a GM because
At first it was because I wanted to play DnD and no one wanted to run it. Now it's because of the worlds I get to craft and stories I get to make with my players!
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Dnd 5e (specifically 2014) Shadowrun 6th world Starfinder
When I'm not running games I'm...
Live streaming on Twitch and practicing multiple forms of art: Drawing, playing guitar, Voice acting, regular acting
How Zed runs games

When it comes to voices
I do the same as I tell my players: either do it or don't. it is by no means requireed, but if it's fun for you then have at it!
I once ran a session...
Where a bluff check got a nat 20 and the player was able to convince an enemy that they were not only their ally, but that the person who was with the enemy group was actually a spy. That person did not survive what came after.
My games focus on...
Telling a combined story and interactivity. I'll create compelling encounters that are all optional if the party chooses to do something completely different and off the wall.
Zed's ideal table
Casual players looking for a little bit of seriousness. The whole vibe is comradery, we're all there to tell the same story and have fun. There's also goofy moments allowed by the rule of cool, and no rules lawyers allowed.

I love it when a player
Breaks out of their shell and embraces RP/ tries a plan/ has a spotlight moment
I think metagaming...
Needs to be stopped. Knowing what comes ahead doesn't help anyone and only spoils any surprises made for that session
I think it's a red flag when players...
Will not let others play how they want. It's one thing to give advice, but I will not allow someones player to be played by someone else while they're at the table.
