About me
Hello, adventurers! Cooperative storytelling is a lifelong passion of mine, as is inclusive, ethical play. I want to serve my players an experience that is equal parts joyous, heartbreaking, funny, scary, silly, and most of all, fun. TTRPGs can be therapeutic and cathartic, and I strive to create a safe space for all genders, races, and sexualities. New players are welcome and questions encouraged, I love to teach and share!
GM Style
It's not my story, it's the players' story, and I'm here to help you tell it! My style is adaptive, and I like to focus on narrative and character development as much as I like to run a dungeon crawl. I do some voice-acting, lean on roleplay and scene-setting, and aim for the rule of thirds: equal time spent on social/roleplay heavy scenes, exploration/puzzle-solving, and combat/challenges. I tweak everything to my groups' preferences once I get to know them! If you choose me as your DM, I'll send your group a survey to get a feel for the kind of story you each want to tell, and we will all discuss it together over our session zero. See you online!

I've been friends with Tiers since college. One day they came to town and offered to run a one-shot, the pitch for which was "If ya want to play DnD, have a level 16 character ready with no backstory." We were all like "sure, sounds fun, excuse to sit around and roll some dice." Little did I know that it would be a fucking legendary pair of sessions that I still tell stories of to this day: it ran the gamut from tight combat to tense social encounters to shocking revelations about the nature of the world. 10/10 would discover we're the baddies again.
Tiers is a wonderful accommodating DM. They are well versed in the rules and are quite creative to the point of keeping a player in their toes most of the time ingame… Tiers was the first DM I felt comfortable to play as I have been a forever DM and to be honest the experience has been quite rewarding and enriching to me as a player/DM and fellow human being… If you can get in on one of their games, I suggest you do…
Tiers is a fantastic DM, I'd say their primary strengths is the ability to roll with the punches and keep the game going. They are my 5th DM and by far the best. My party would attest to the fact that they create dynamic story telling and allow the players to create unique characters with fantastic abelites that are still true to the rules of D&D. I hope to run with them for a long time. Thank you being a friend, traveling down the road and back again, your heart is true, your a pal and confidant.
Tiers has been an amazing DM throughout our long campaign, as someone that was just starting out myself with a few failed campaigns under my belt, Tiers was not only flexible with scheduling while I was quite a few time zones away, but was more than happy to explain rules and details that the somewhat new group we had was having trouble understanding, always in a friendly and clear way ensuring everyone was on the same page. Voices, accents, scene setting, Tiers does it all in the best way.
