I got started GMing...

I started GMing almost 4 years ago, and surprisingly I've been running that same campaign ever since. Most of the same players are still involved too. It's amazing. I'm also starting a new campaign for players in my local community since they asked me to GM it. It's an honor to be asked, honestly.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Creative, quick-witted, and fun-loving

When I'm not running games I'm...

I enjoy writing stories, working on character development, creating monsters for other DMs and GMs, going to the beach, spending time with my wife and kids, going to the movies, making time for my friends, and playing in games in my local community.

How Jordan runs games

My style of GMing is extremely story-based with high-stakes combat. I enjoy designing and leading games with open world concepts and spend hours tirelessly crafting these stories with great attention to detail. Even though I do enjoy designing a good combat scenario, I also enjoy designing intricate dungeons filled with traps, obstacles, riddles, and puzzles to solve. If you ask any of my players from the past three years, they'll tell you that my games employ cause and effect mechanics, where the choices you make will affect the world around you as well as your fellow party members. However, i do make it a point to taylor my games to my players wishes. So, whether it's GMing a one-shot or an ongoing campaign, I strive to create memorable and exciting sessions that generate enjoyment for both myself and my players. Bottom line, have fun and remember... it's just a game.

Jordan's ideal table

I run my tables pretty loosely. As long as players follow table etiquette and the basic rules of gameplay for the game that's being run, that's all I expect. A lot of my past players have wanted to do things in game or have asked me to add things to game and, as long as they could explain why and how it would work in game, then I'm fine implementing it. I just expect my players to be able to explain to me what they want to do so that I know it's going to work. Communication is key and it's very important for game play. Other than that...just have fun and be respectful and remember...the GM is always right. In addition, I also run a User Point system. For every game I run that players participate in, they will earn User Points. Here's the breakdown: - Earn 2 points per paid game. - Spend 10 points for priority booking access. - Spend 20 points for a free game. - Spend 2 points for in-game perks (200 XP/gold, reroll, or advantage). - Points reset after spending. For any questions, feel free to message me or chat on Discord.

I am for a vibe that's...

Funny, fun, and fancy free. I enjoy controlled chaos. Let the hilarity ensue.

I love it when a player

Is creative with their playstyle and thinks outside the box.

My table is not the place for...

My table is not for anyone who can't follow the simple rules of table etiquette and/or disrespects the GM or their fellow players. Also, communication is very important to me. So, I do expect my players to communicate.
