About me
I've been a storyteller, musician, poet, and writer most of my life. My daughter got me into TTRPGs, and I am hooked! After playing in up to six games a week and exploring several game systems for a few years, I finally got up the courage to run some one-shots. Having survived those, I figured I'd spread my wings a little more and offer some short adventures on StartPlaying. If you want to have some fun and help sculpt a Baby GM, hop on in!
GM Style
My #1 priority as a GM is to provide a safe, enjoyable, 'rule of cool' environment for players to exercise their imaginations in! If you like roleplay above and beyond, come frolic with me! (I'm not saying there won't be good old kick-some-ass combat when it's called for.)

I have had the privilege and honor of playing with Skeptica for the past two years, and it has been one of my best experiences playing alongside her. Skeptica does a wonderful job giving every player the freedom and time to do as they please. Her worlds have been filled with whimsy, intrigue, and of course danger. And her stories are one built on solid structures. Or she is just that good at improv! I eagerly await to be apart of her next game.

Skeptica truly celebrates storytelling and the real consequences of the sometimes capricious settings fantasy portrays. For every witch in the woods there is a stolen child, for every river crossed there is a threat of drowning. Being able to show all of that while keeping the fantastic in the setting, especially by showing it through her player's actions, is a true testament to her improvisation ability and deep understanding of what a story truly should be. I have played a year+ long campaign with Skeptica as a player and was luckily enough to be invited to a one-shot she hosted. Through it all, I can say with certainty that she loves doing this, and she's good at it. The mechanics of the game were also easy to learn and felt very intuitive by the end, as someone who had no familiarity with the system she used going into it!

I have played two games with Skeptica, and both were great. We were all laughing most of the time. If you like a bit of a challenge and real consequences for your actions, or a more roleplay-heavy experience, then definitely try her out as a GM, you won't regret it!

Very good GM. Was very knowledgeable about the game she ran and was able to teach it and run it well. I had a great time learning the system and playing the game. Would do it again.
