👋 Hey everyone! I'm Hooli. I've been running Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPG games for 6 years, focusing on creating immersive, character-driven stories where players have the freedom to really impact the world. 💻 Behind the screen, I love using digital tools to elevate our sessions. My games feature detailed maps, atmospheric music, VTT integrations, and full content sharing on D&D Beyond to make character creation and gameplay as smooth as possible. 🎭 My personal GM philosophy heavily favors the Rule of Cool over strict rules-lawyering. If you enjoy deep character development and interacting with the world on a personal level, you’ll feel right at home. 🧩 Puzzles, Riddles & Skill Challenges (80%) My games heavily favor exploration and problem-solving over brute force. I love designing complex, intense situations that force you to think outside the box. A clever diplomatic argument or a creative use of a utility spell will often net you a bigger victory than a high damage roll. ⚔️ Tactical Combat (20%) Combat in my campaigns is purposeful and fast-paced rather than a slog. It serves the story rather than dominating the session. You won't always need to draw your sword to win the day. 🎲 Logistics & House Rules 🗺️ Progression: Strict milestone leveling to keep the focus on major story beats. 🪙 The Chaos Coin System: To take the sting out of terrible dice luck, I reward players with Chaos Coins for epic feats or particularly tragic Natural 1s, turning bad luck into fun gameplay twists. 🤝 Player-First: While I have a clear style, I am highly collaborative and always adapt to what keeps the table having the most fun.
