About me

So first, the boring stuff - I've played a lot of rpg's over the years and have run hundreds of games at conventions, in-person gaming groups, and online. Lately I've been publishing some of my content on sites like DMsGuild and drivethrurpg. These days my preferred games are Savage Worlds and Fate, though I've also run several years-long D&D 5e campaigns as well as one-shots and campaigns in dozens of other systems. Really, though, those are the bare minimum, get-you-through-the-door qualifications as a paid GM. What's more interesting to me and about me is that I genuinely want to provide a good gaming experience for everyone involved. I like to chat with each and every player ahead of time to find out if we're a good fit, if our styles mesh, and if I'm the right person to meet your expectations. Sometimes you don't know exactly what you're looking for and that's all right. I've run a lot of games with a lot of different players and usually can get a sense of what works for different people. GM Style

First and foremost, your characters are the heroes of the story we're telling together. I enjoy providing them with a balance of opportunities for problem solving, exploration, and combat. When the rules inevitably fail us, I'm a proponent of the rule of cool or going with what drives the story forward in interesting ways. Your history isn't just a backstory - it's a living, breathing part of our narrative, shaping the very course of our experience.
