About FinalBossAshley
I’ve been known to host games that are: - Exciting - Inclusive - Engaging Howdy! My name is Ash and thank you so much for taking a glimpse at my page! I got into online tabletop back in 2017, where I ran my first dungeons and dragons game through roll 20. Since that day, I have formed life long bonds with the players I met. One of which has been my greatest supporter and recently my partner. I owe a lot to tabletop for the friendships it made and the awesome stories I’ve been lucky enough to tell with others. Most importantly, it all began with the simple thought of “I want to share the funny images in my head with the world.” If you’ve ever felt that urge to create or to share something with another, then I think you’ll be in the right place.

How FinalBossAshley runs games
My style is very adaptive. Be it vibes or specific requests, I go out of my way to weave player character stories into my narratives any chance I can get. I find the fun of roleplay is the improv between players and the NPCs I offer. In systems where combat is queen, I like to buy into that tactical mindset. Ultimately I will provide that depth and care to teach newcomers or challenge veterans, but most of all the fun and the story will be the primary point of what you’ll see.

I deal with rules issues by...
Making a fair call within the game in order to keep the story and pace moving. Then, if the rules need to be addressed in further detail for future sessions, I take the time to resolve the in-between. The important thing is that rules should help not hinder the experience.
I once ran a session...
For about 8+ hours. It was some of the most fun I've ever had with a group I'm proud to call my friends. Seeing everyone so invested in the story and their characters really sealed the deal for my love of tabletop.
My favorite trope is...

FinalBossAshley's ideal table
I'm known to be very chill at my tables. I like to take the time to feel out the room and get to know those who I'll be sharing my stories with. Once that ice thaws, I've been known to be a bit of a GM gremlin at times. All in the sake of fun, if I can make you laugh before the session starts, then that is always a good tell for the session to come. Even in my most grimdark or serious of settings, I always like to remind my players what we are here for. If that sounds like the type of people you'd mesh with, welcome to the table!

I love it when a player
Includes other players into their roleplay. My job as GM is to set up these moments for players to meld together in the story, but when a player does that job for me, it engages me on another level.
I think min/maxing...
It can be fun with the right group and the right game. However, there is always that little worry of outshining a player mechanically if not everyone is on the same page. Those who choose flavor over numbers are my biggest fans.
