About me

Hi, I'm Ben! From the time I started playing D&D, I fell in love with role playing in fantasy worlds. Not being allowed to play as a kid, I came to the game as an adult and have made up for lost time! I really enjoy working WITH my players to provide the best experience. I have been running games in 5e for the past four years with a mix of in person and virtual. I also have experience DMing Shadowdark, EZD6, and Dolmenwood.I have a strong passion to help new players and prioritize making the table a safe and accepting place. I allow RAW and third party content on a case by case basis. If you are new and want to learn to play in a fun, safe game, I would be happy to be your DM! PS: I am available for in person and virtual games for all sorts of special events!

GM Style

I want to provide the three pillars of D&D which are combat, role play, and exploration. That being said, I cater to what that particular table enjoys. My philosophy as a GM is that the shared experience at the table(in-person or virtual) is the most important component of any session. I tend to be a big picture GM and want to ensure that everyone is having fun, feels safe and supported, gets to use their mechanical features in the game, and has a meaningful impact upon the world in which the game is set. Lastly, I understand that this is a collaborative effort and truly want to work with my players to help them get what they are looking for in the TTRPG experience.
