About Chris MacDougall

I'm a veteran GM with over 15 years experience running a variety of RPGs. Amongst the highlights are a 1-20 Rise of Tiamat campaign run on Foundry VTT and a complete running of a Night's Black Agents campaign. My style as a GM is to be a fan of the players while still giving their decisions meaning by having consequences for their choices. I love helping players integrate their characters into the world of the story we are telling together. I also enjoy getting into the headspace of the villains and giving the players someone to strive against and hate. How Chris MacDougall runs games

I prefer games where the players are driving the story forward with their decisions. I strongly believe in being a fan of the player characters and letting them be the stars of the show and use their abilities to make themselves shine. I also enjoy giving them tactical challenges and pushing them to make themselves and their teammates better. RPGs are about joint storytelling and the players need the opportunity to work together to overcome what the fictional world throws at them. It is always fun to set up a scenario and discover how the players handle it.
