Professional GM of 6 years with a focus on D&D 5e (2014). I have 3 years of Improv experience and have trained at several institutions incuding UCB NY. I love introducing new players to the game and teaching the basics and giving veteran players a new, flexible, open world generation style of gameplay. My #1 rule at a table is everyone should be having fun (all other rules are subject to this one). Rule #2 at my table is that players have full agency over their characters and in the world they interact with (I will trash years worth of prep for a better/more fun character choice literally always). I aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment for games and prioritize safety, accommodating player needs, and cultivating a shared focus to ensure everyone is able to engage with gameplay as much as their comfort level allows. I can, and do, work to accommodate various time zones, and I love to get folks from all over at the same table whenever possible! GM Style

I am a professionally trained improviser and have a background in creative writing, graphic design, and storytelling. I create player-driven, character-focused games, and campaigns are built around the players. I do enough worldbuilding to make the world feel rich and alive, but also tangible for the players to interact with (without being too overwhelming). I do enough prep between sessions to be prepared and to provide structure but keep it open enough to be flexible and reactive to player decisions. I believe that the GM role is a privilege, and I always consider it an honor to simply be a conduit of creative energy at the table - to take in the players' creativity and play and return it back to them in fun and exciting ways.
