About me

My Uncle introduced me to Tabletop Games 6 years ago and I want to create the same experience I had that night for others. I absolutely love tabletop games and have experimented with a variety of systems and play styles. Storytelling is something I care deeply about. It is something I love. But more than that, I love hosting people and creating an environment for people to have fun. I am a freelance writer making guides about D&D for thegamer.com. I have also released a small supplement on drivethrurpg and love making handouts and in-depth lore for my players. I write a lot of fiction in my freetime, including short stories and novels.

GM style

I am a very flexible GM at my core. Yet there are a few things which i tend towards. I like rules and verisimilitude, just because the help things make sense to me. But my like of rules does not only apply to the official ones. I make my own systems and have enough experience with games like D&D 5e to know when to edit things. So, if we all agree we're better off axeing a rule, changing one, or even adding one, I am more than happy to do that. I'm very big on storytelling, narratives, and roleplay. Character voices are not my strength or necessarily my priority, though I do try my best. And I prefer to save most combat for when it matters and is thematically appropriate. I'm not keen on fighting for the sake of it. I am not formal when it comes to my GMing, prefering to do what I do because I like to tell stories and help people have fun.
