About the adventure
This is a light reskin of the Candlekeep Mysteries module, set in the homebrew world of Azura. It is made up of many small adventures intended to provide a wide range of experiences for a party. Players will be given a lot of choice as to where they'd like to go, which quest lines they'd like to tackle, and how their characters interact with the world. In the current story arc, the players are investigating the origins of a cult bent on summoning a god of chaos. Helped by a stubborn guard captain, an old knight-turned-shopkeeper, and several others, the party must put the pieces together to help victims of the cult leader lay to final rest peacefully.

Creating your character
I will work with each player to create their characters and guide them with ideas that I think will match the tone of the story. Character creation will occur over discord, as will the rest of the game, so a traditional session 0 will not take place. Instead, I will hold 1 0n 1 sessions with each player as they create their characters to introduce them into the world and try out a few options before having to commit 100%.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Install discord and make a free DnDBeyond account. It would also be helpful to familiarize yourself with Avrae, discord's dnd bot, and its various built-in commands.
What Michael Barlos brings to the table
This game will be entirely conducted over Discord, integrating DndBeyond character sheets. I will bring a wealth of knowledge about the game and the world I've created, vibrant and sensory-forward descriptions of places, NPCs, events, and environments, all of the content sharing necessary to complete the module, and a whole lot of rope for my players to creatively explore their characters.
