Over the last 20+ years, I’ve guided players through epic campaigns— from the legendary 🐉 Dragonlance Chronicles, to surviving Apocalyptic Chaos with a pack of 🐺 werewolves, and unraveling Cosmic Horrors behind the 🎭 Masks of Nyarlathotep. - participate in the narration, bringing ideas that can be build upon. - go all in with their Roleplay, trying to feel what's his character feels & act in accordance, not simply trying to maximise rules bonus. - let me know the things they enjoy most so I can plan more of it.

I think it's a red flag when players...

- stay on their phone, do not interract with other players or the story. - act against other players, just to enjoy some form of power over other. - Focus on themself only and don't support other players. - avoid responsabilities by acting secretly and refusing metagaming.

I think metagaming...

- is a way to create anticipation and more immersion. Ex: When the GM describe a scene happening far away, the PCs don't know what's coming but the players do ! - allows to stage friendly PvP, that support the story, while avoiding real players confrontation (ex: when two PCs are rivals).
