About Richard Lionheart
I got into TTRPG because my kids started playing. and I wanted to enter into what they were doing, and found that I enjoyed it as much, or more, than they did! I also greatly enjoy the social aspect of playing, and the sense of community that it provides myself, my family, and the players. My kids are adults now, and RP has just gotten more fun as time has gone on, and now I want to host games as a way to branch out my abilities, and introduce a new generation of families to the hobby.

How Richard Lionheart runs games
I do love roleplay. The story is all-important, even above the ruleset. Rule of Cool and Rule of Funny are also very important. If all participants don't have fun each session, then the GM has failed in some way. I also have been a Star Trek fan since the early 80's, love technology, read the books, and so I have a deep understanding of the lore behind that universe. I also love sci-fi in general, Marvel and DC superheroes (Batman is the best!), and geekdom in general. I also love giant space battles, and the parallels between starship combat and submarine combat, and wish that gaming systems allowed for more of that sort of tactics.
