Finding a Delta Green game can be difficult. While Delta Green is not an unknown game to most tabletop roleplayers, it is unlikely you will find it at your local game store. Most open game listings are for D&D, Pathfinder, The World of Darkness, and Cyberpunk Red, leaving other game systems in the dust. Whether you are new to the system or a die-hard fan, the question remains - where can you find a Delta Green game?

While it may be difficult, finding a game is never impossible. Here are five places to explore to help you find a game that works for you! Whether you feel more comfortable on Reddit, Discord, or want to dive into some open forums, check out these spots for all of your Delta Green needs.

1. StartPlaying

StartPlaying is the best place to find a tabletop roleplaying group for any TTRPG system. You have access to thousands of professional game masters, each with unique play styles, ready to lead you headfirst into a wild adventure. Look through game master reviews to find your best fit, check out available games, and then jump right into the action.

If you want a taste of what StartPlaying has to offer for Delta Green adventures, check out Delta Green games available on StartPlaying right now!

2. R/LFG or R/LFG_Europe

Two of the best subreddits for finding available TTRPG games across North America and Europe are r/lfg and r/lfg_europe. Each server hosts hundreds of postings that have all the information you need to find a game that works best for you. Each posting notes the game system, the time zone, and the required starting player information. You can reach out to posters directly to get a sense if the game is right for you, set up a time and place, and then take it from there.

Just be warned - finding games that fall outside of D&D 5E, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Cyberpunk Red may be challenging. You can do callouts to grab some attention from potential game masters, but it can be hit or miss depending on who is available and who has experience with the system. If at first you do not succeed, keep searching.

3. Roll20 Community Forums

Roll20 offers players and game masters not only a space to find games but also a virtual tabletop system that makes gameplay seamless. Once you find a game, you can let the virtual tabletop system take over with dice, maps, tokens, and everything in between. New game systems are being continuously added to the site, allowing greater access to various TTRPGs, regardless of how niche the system is.

Similar to r/lfg and r/lfg_europe, you may have difficulty finding available listings for Delta Green. While the site has expanded to include different game systems, there is still a heavy D&D and Pathfinder presence that can overtake other game systems. Make sure to tinker with your filters to see if you can find the right game for you.

4. Night at the Opera Discord

Night at the Opera is a Delta G reen fan server inspired by an adventure book of the same name. This fan server has sections dedicated to sharing different thoughts and ideas regarding different Delta Green modules, adventure stories, and a lot more. In addition, they have a campaigns section dedicated to promoting games you are running and if you are looking for games to join. Whether you are a player or a GM, this is a great spot to go looking for potential games.

However, be aware that depending on the circumstances, this process may require some time for a game to get started. If you are the first person who has signed up for an adventure, you may find that games take longer than you hoped to get off the ground. If patience is not one of your virtues, perhaps another option may have faster results.

5. Pretending to Be People Discord

Pretending to Be People is a mystery-horror roleplay Delta Green podcast that throws players into the heart of evil as they attempt to figure out what is plaguing their little town. Their discord is filled with folks who love Delta Green, ready to talk shop and even run games. Check out their LFG channel to see if GMs are looking for potential players, or if players are looking for a future adventure.

Something to keep in mind if you do decide to go this route - this is primarily a fan space first. While some people in the server do offer to run games, do not step in expecting to find something right away, and definitely do not start filling channels with requests. Check out the podcast first and see if you like it. If you do, you will likely have an easier time getting something started. You may even find a new podcast that you love!

Check out these options and you will find something worth your while. Try multiple sites and forums simultaneously to get the best results, but do not make promises you cannot keep. Best to stay on everyone's good side.
