About the adventure
The biggest jerk in the village has died and frankly you're a little glad about it. You've had your grievances with this guy for a while, in fact everyone in the town of Amber Skies is glad to be rid of the Carric's carcass. Now he has faked his death before, so you're interested in making sure the body is real this time before you let go of your grievance. So here you are now in a graveyard as the dead soon rise up, as Carric has one more laugh from beyond the grave. You will have to escape into the darkness before your surrounded on all sides and dragged down into the masses.

About me
I've been DMing since my start with a mentality of war being 90% preparation and 10% execution and therefore, for my in-person games I've made all players a character binder with their characters race, class, subclass, multiclass, background as well as rules for combat, magic and such. I want to know who your characters are so I know how best to show off what you as player can do, while trying to kill you. If you're a blindsight fighter then I will cover the area in darkness, so you guide your party out. Are you the fastest boy in the land as a tabaxi monk? Then I will put a chase scene in there to show off how fast you can go to pursue some criminal through the city. I'm a big fan of homebrews and the rule of cool. I've been building a homebrew world for years and getting input from my players and the community has been great; what's better is seeing them react and reshape a town or belief as they pass through. My players adding to my world has been one of the best perks of running these games.

Character creation
Creating your character
You can make up to a level 8 character for this encounter, have your character ready before the session begins. Any of the official DND5e books are usable There is homebrew of different animal folk I have available as well.
