About me
Hey there! I’m Grae (they/them) your local hot and dramatic t-boy theater-kid turned DM. I’ve got lots of flair for storytelling, improv, and inclusivity. I’ve been running games for over a year building a community of malicious misfits. I love making thematic worlds with vivid combat encounters, and imaginative social interactions that both my players and I fall in love with. With me I’ll serve up: 🏳️🌈Queer, POC, neurodivergent, and disability celebration 💡Custom worlds, plots, and character backgrounds 😜Professional Level improv and NPC acting ‼️Silly, campy, sometimes spicy, energy in grounded gritty stories. 💚 Fresh-Baked Table Top, VTT, or doodle based visuals. Let’s build something awesome together. Come join an adventure or request one of your very own — the realms await! (P.S. All Thumbnails/ VTT maps/ and character art is made by me!)

Grae has run a very creative, improv friendly game with a fun way of approaching classic D&D structure. They've built a very safe, comfortable experience that's allowed me to get into character easily and feel immersed the whole time. Looking forward to where our campaign takes us!
Truly fabulous DM. Pays so much attention to everyone's characters (their backstories, personalities, etc) and weaves them into the plot so it all feels fantastic to play through. Tolerates so much of my bs and really allows for players to get creative and choose how they do things. Also has created such a rich and details world for the game, there's so much lore and its got such a unique mythos. Cannot recommend enough.
Character creation
Creating your character
In Session 0, characters will be created using the basic dnd beyond character creation system starting at level 1. If a player wishes to use an already built character they can message me directly to review. I base stats on the 4d6 manual roll method. No additional books are needed.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have a webcam, mic, and internet. Accounts on Discord, Zoom, and DND beyond. We can make characters together or you can use a pre-made character. You don't need to read rules ahead of time.

Homebrew rules
Heavily Modded using the three systems merged together (dnd 5e, SW5e, Good Society) to make the scifyi political drama vibes. I build Homebrew as we go to allow us to build the best coolest story possible.

Safety
How Captain Grae creates a safe table

We will also build characters and backgrounds for players who want to build a character. Consent Checkin- I will send an email that contains my consent checklist as well as lines and veils documents that can be filled out before session 1. Breaks- Breaks can be asked for whenever and I will find natural pauses in story for them. My guild line is approx. 1-2 10min breaks a session.
