About the adventure
It was late that warm summer night, your tiny heart hammering in your chest as you and a small group of childhood friends shimmied through a hole in the temporary fence. You were young then and far more daring than you are now, not thinking of the consequences as you snuck into the Witchlight Carnival. After all, it was only in town for one more night! You wouldn't miss this chance for the world, no matter what your parents said! What amazement met you upon your arrival: fairy wings, candy like cotton, and animals you'd only read about in books come to life. Standing amongst your beaming friends, awash in the glow of the Big Top tent, you knew you had made the right decision to come after all. That enchantment still twinkles in your eye to this day, 8 years past. You've grown up, but have longed for the carnival ever since, like a piece of you had been squirreled away and stolen by it. Now you've finally caught wind of it's return, and are eager to purchase a proper ticket in order to attend. Who knows? We will be meeting weekly at Darby's Dungeon in Jax at 7PM every Sunday, unless the store is otherwise booked or closed for whatever reason. If that's ever the case, everyone is welcome to come to my house where I can provide snacks and lots of animals to pet lol.

About me
Hello there, I'm Rocky! I'm 25 and have basically been playing ttrpgs since I could count, as my dad was an OG D&D player back in the 80s. I started with D&D 3.5e and Pathfinder 1e. I have since mastered D&D 5e, and dabbled in many other ttrpgs since then. The games that stick with me the most are set in my homebrew world of Estrya, where actions players have taken in one campaign impact the lore and history present in the world for future campaigns and players. I've also run published material, like Tales from the Yawning Portal and Spelljammer: Light of Xaryxis, or converted older D&D modules like Rock of Bral into the 5e system.

Rocky's a fantastic DM! I took a long hiatus from DND for various reasons and I'm very glad I ended up with the group I'm currently in to get back into it. They're a terrific storyteller who integrates prewritten descriptions very well into the campaign, and their homebrew setting has been a lot of fun to work with. Overall the campaign has been great, the vibe is comfortable, and it's obvious they've put a lot of dedication into it :)

Rocky has been DMing our game for several months at this point and it has been a wonderful experience! Every session is planned and with extensive options to think outside the box to achieve our goals. Rocky even placed in an entire chariot race game just for a one off session, as well as all the additional story and character features that were introduced to their game at session zero. Everybody is accommodated and welcome, autonomy of your characters is entirely your decision and I have never felt like any of us were a bad fit. Rocky will give enough details and voice over introductions to illustrate the worlds you will inhabit and the lore bits you can either choose to pick up or move aside are always prevalent and there is a flavourful interaction on every street corner. All my respect for what Rocky does for our campaign and my gratitude for an exemplary experience for my first all-random online D&D session, it has been a ride getting to where we are and I am eager each week to see where our adventures will take us and who I will get argue with next!
Character creation
Creating your character
Everything will be handled during our first session! I'll provide character sheets for everyone and the information needed for character creation. We will be using the standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) for starting stats. All 5e material is allowed, so long as it is from the 2014 ruleset. Once you sign up, please fill out the google form and we'll be ready to play!

You can and will want to adopt them!
