He's dead. "The neck wound is fresh," your companion whispers, her torchlight reflecting on the spreading pool of blood below the body. "Then he's probably in one of these," you say, gesturing to the light-less, closely packed houses that tower over you. Your companion nods and pulls a sharpened stick from inside her cloak. You take a deep breath, knowing that this will likely be the last night for both of you. "Let's catch this bastard." In Vampire Hunters Inc. you will play a member of a team of skilled adventurers driven to rid a fantasy city of a new plague: vampires. About me
Hello! My name is Vahid. As well as being a Dungeon Master for 40+ years, I am the producer and DM of the streaming show Dice Legenz (links below to check out our show). Over the 40+ years of being in the D&D scene I have spent thousands of hours playing HEAPS of different TTRPG systems, but I especially love D&D 5th edition. Role-playing games are an amazing way to connect with friends, make new friends, create new and exciting worlds, and just have a wonderful creative time. Fun is the core of all of the games that I run. The sessions that we will have together will be a balance of engaging, interactive role playing, and exciting, thrilling, fast paced action. While running pre-made modules is fun, the real excitement for me is creating new worlds, new characters, new adventures. Therefore, the games that I run are in unique world settings. Together, we will encounter monsters you have never seen before in places no one has ever visited before. And at the heart of all of the adventure are the characters that YOU make - the heroes, or perhaps antiheroes, of our adventure. We just finished a campaign that took almost 9 months. It was such a fantastic experience! Vahid took a home brewed campaign, incorporated all of our backstories and even managed to have one of the players backstories become such an integral part all the while telling his own crafted story. We didn't make it easy for him either. Vahid kept telling us that he never knew what we were going to do during a session and its true, we were a very chaotic party. However, Vahid rolled with the punches and never once failed to stay ahead of us and keep the story rolling. He is a master of his craft and it was proven every Monday at 9PM EST even if daylight savings tried to interject at several different points in the year. Easy Nat 20 out of 20 would recommend!

Character creation
Creating your character
Bring your own level 5 character, or I can supply you with one. Standard array stats, averaged hit points (not rolled), any official content can be used to make your character. Feel free to have any mundane starting equipment and one "rare" magical item of your choice. All equipment, spells and magical items must be from official WotC sources.
You can make any 5th level character you want for this urban one-shot. We will be using 2024 rules, but a 2014 character would be just fine. Pre-made characters are available in every class if you want.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a working microphone, internet connection, account on Roll20 (it is free), and to join my Discord server (also free). Cameras are optional. I use a camera. You can choose. You are welcome to use physical dice or digital.
What Vahid Qualls brings to the table
VTT, professional maps, immersive music, professional voicing. We use the rules most of the time, but aren't afraid to bend them to make room for the Rule of Cool.
