About the adventure
They lied to you. You were told your purpose was just and true. You were meant to bring ruin to the enemies of mankind with the light of reason and the fury of your righteous wrath. But you were betrayed. The false emperor stole power from the gods and lied to his people. He betrayed you. His rotting imperium is built on a lie. And because of those lies their empty words fall upon deaf ears now - their corpse god is dead, killed by reason. And now the renegades return, no longer the tame, reliable pets that the Imperium wanted you to be. You are no one’s pets. Not the corpse god’s, not Abaddon’s. You are predators. You are why walls are raised and watch fires lit at night. This is your Imperium. Built across the worlds you burned, over bones you broke, with the blood you shed. Ruin has come for them. Death, despair, and red war. Hope and courage and honor will not avail them. Nothing can save them now. Join us and create the story of your warband. Alliances made and broken. Strength gained and lost. Taking what you need to survive. Striking back at those that betrayed you, at those deserving of your hate. Resisting the incessant whispers of the ruinous powers, or maybe letting them in. And most importantly, taking your revenge.
Black Crusade is a game about the "bad guys" but that does not just mean endless shooting and looting. It also means exploring what it's like to be a chaos warband, and the motivations and stories behind those characters. What drives them? what motivates them? What is it like for them to simply survive in this life? And of course, how do they strike back at the Imperium they feel betrayed them in the first place?

How to prepare
All you need is a decent microphone and a desire for an amazing story! Video is available, but is not required. Session 0 will be free
What I provide
I will have Roll20 ready with maps, artwork, handouts, and full ambient music as well as all necessary compendiums. I will also have legal use PDFs available for any players who need them.
Gameplay details
I have a Google form I will send you once you sign up that will very thoroughly go through lines and veils. I also use digital and/or messaged and/or held up on video X, N, & 0 cards. I am also available after each session for aftercare, as needed. At session 0 we will go over lines and veils that were filled out ahead of time (anonymously) so player expectations can be set.
