About the adventure
Setting: The year is 2332. The galaxy is carved into territories controlled by warring mega-corporations—omnipresent entities more powerful than nations. Gone are the days of governments; power is measured in resource control, armadas, and the loyalty of bought mercenaries. Planets are scorched not for ideology, but for quarterly gains. In this brutal economy, the players are expendable assets—contracted mercs working for a faceless employer. Every mission is high-risk, high-reward: assassinate a rival exec, extract volatile AI prototypes, sabotage interstellar refineries, or hold ground against impossible alien threats bred in biotech think tanks. But in a galaxy where everyone has a price—and corporations rewrite the rules as they go—how long can your crew stay alive, let alone free?

About me
Hey everyone my name is Sahat aka FIFLEGEND. I've been playing ttrpg's since the 90's. Started off with Rifts and other Palladium books, and have played multiple systems over the years. Currently, I'm into Marvel Multiverse, Mothership, Old Gods of Appalachia, and Mecha vs Kaiju, but I still continue to play Rifts and other Palladium games like Beyond the Supernatural and Megaverse in Flames. Really into game design and storytelling, so if you're looking for a balance of fun, action packed and character driven stories, I am your narrator. Let's keep it safe and fun for everyone. Also, if you have a game you like to play and have friends to join, let me know and I'm happy to set that up.

Creating your character
🧬 Character Creation Character creation for Crimson Dividend will take place before the first session to ensure we hit the ground running. Players will create their mercenaries using the Mothership 1e Player’s Survival Guide—if you’re new, don’t worry! I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, or you can use one of the pre-generated characters I’ll provide as a backup or template. We'll be using standard stat rolling (6d10 drop the lowest for each stat) and characters will begin at Level 1, freshly recruited into the service of NovaForge Syndicate. Backgrounds, classes (Teamster, Marine, Scientist, Android), and trinkets will help define your role and flavor. You’ll also select from starting gear and weapons appropriate to a high-risk corporate warzone, with access to a few additional options via faction contacts and black market dealers. If you want to customize your backstory, motivation, or secret loyalties—this is highly encouraged! There are no “heroes” here, just professionals with messy pasts, unknown agendas, and bills to pay. You’ll submit your sheet via Roll20 before Session 1. I’ll also have tools available for you to import your character into the VTT easily.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🚀 How to Prepare for the Game To join Crimson Dividend, players will need a mic, a free Roll20 account, and Discord installed for voice chat. A stable internet connection is key, as most of the game will be run live through Roll20 and Discord. While a webcam is not required, clear audio and being present during the session is important for both immersion and team survival. You don’t need to be a Mothership expert—we welcome new players! Before the game begins, I’ll provide access to pre-game materials, including safety tools, setting brief, and a quick rules summary. Players should read through the basic Mothership rules (1e)—especially character creation, panic checks, and how stress works. If you want to create your own character instead of using a pregen, I’ll offer a guided session or worksheet, and help you import it into Roll20. No special downloads are required beyond Discord and access to your browser. Optional tools like Google Drive or Notion may be used to track character notes, dossiers, and NPC interactions. Come ready to collaborate, make bold choices, and explore the terrifying consequences of unchecked corporate ambition in deep space.
What Fiflegend brings to the table
🎮 What I Offer Players 🌌 Virtual Tabletop: We’ll be using Roll20 for maps, dice rolls, handouts, and visual immersion. No need for subscriptions—just a free account and a willingness to survive. 🎧 Voice Chat: All sessions will run through Discord voice channels. A working microphone is required for clear communication and smooth teamwork. No webcam is necessary. 🧠 Theater of the Mind & Tactical Maps: Expect a hybrid style of play—intense action scenes and combat will use tactical maps, while exploration, social scenes, and high-tension moments rely on theater of the mind for narrative flexibility and immersion. 🗺️ Custom Maps & Tokens: Every mission includes custom, original maps (derelict stations, hostile alien terrain, corporate blacksites, etc.) and bespoke tokens for major NPCs, creatures, and key environments to keep the world visually grounded and unique. 🎵 Ambience & Sound: Sessions include ambient background music and sound design to enhance tension, horror, or high-octane action as needed. 📖 Rule Support: Whether you're brand new to Mothership or a veteran, I offer: Guided character creation (if needed) Quick rules references Optional pre-generated characters I blend cinematic storytelling with dangerous, fast-paced action and gritty survival horror. Expect collaborative play, intense moral choices, and high-stakes decisions where every credit—and every breath—counts.

How Fiflegend creates a safe table
🛡️ Safety Tools & Player Support Horror gaming only works when everyone feels safe, respected, and heard. Crimson Dividend deals with intense themes like violence, betrayal, and psychological tension, so we use a full suite of safety tools to ensure an inclusive and supportive experience. Session 0 will cover: Lines and Veils: We'll collaboratively establish which content is off-limits (Lines) and which is fade-to-black or optional (Veils). X, N, and O cards: These tools are integrated digitally in chat or through private messages. Players can use them at any time to pause, stop, or shift content without question or penalty. Tone & Player Expectations: We'll align on desired intensity (gritty horror vs. action pulp), player agency, PvP boundaries, and the campaign's evolving moral greys. After each session, we’ll have a brief aftercare debrief, allowing players to share highs, lows, and make adjustments to ensure ongoing safety and enjoyment. My goal as a GM is to make Crimson Dividend thrilling and immersive without crossing personal boundaries. The game world is dangerous—but the table is always safe.
