About me
I have been a GM for over 10 years and have run several different styles of games. From hack and slash to deep story driven campaigns where players get to play out their character's goals and ambitions, while making an incredible collaborative story that will be remembered for years to come. When my players surprise me by coming at a problem from an unexpected direction, and completely derailing what I have planned is one of my favorite parts. I love this because it keeps me on my toes and sometimes the best parts of the story come from times like these. As a GM I take the role of stage setter and guide. Creating your character
Character creation will be done, as a group, when the game starts during our session 0. The whole group will walk thought it together at that time. If a player is joining later, then we will have a One on One session 0 before the session they are joining, and get everything set up.
Come and join us on this pokemon journey. The group is a fun loving pokemon enthusiast group that are just having some fun reliving the good old pokemon days and roleplaying as trainers. We are learning the system as we go and would love to have a 4th trainer come and learn or just play with us. We lean more into the Roleplay side of the game but have a good amount of battles as well just not every session. The game is set in the Kanto regain with pokemon from the first 3 generations as options to catch. Some from other generations can be added just speak with the GM. The group is Level 3 as trainers and working to get there pokemon up to level 30 to face the third Gym.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a good mic and access to a computer that can run foundry. You will need a free account to forge-vtt.com so you can join my foundry server that is hosted from Forge. A free account for Discord.
What Tyler brings to the table
I will have the game running on my Foundry server with maps and the rules provided on there. I provide background music for the session and keep session recaps that I use to remind everyone where we left off. Once the campaign is over I compile those and give them to the group as a reminder of the fun times.
Homebrew rules
None so far but we may use some depending on the situation if the system mechanics do not have something already.

How Tyler creates a safe table
We will do a session 0 with the group when the game starts, and a one on one session 0, for any players joining after we have started. We will go over the business side of things, and safety tools first. Then jump into campaign style and character creation. X,N and O. All players are always welcome and encouraged to let the group or the GM know if they are ever feeling uncomfortable. Players are welcome to do that in voice chat, text chat or by sending the GM a private message, and it will be resolved and the content will stop with no questions asked. After care can be done in chat after the session any time, or if needed I am happy to do a voice chat if it is needed.
