How to prepare

You will need to have/bring: 🎤 A Microphone and Discord Downloaded 🎲 A DNDBeyond and a Roll20 account (They're both free) 🗡️ Beyond20 Browser extension for Firefox or Chrome (Not necessary but allows you to roll from DNDBeyond!) 🙋 Your character, if you've decided to make it in advance (pre-gens are available on request!) 📸 A Webcam (If you would like to use video, but this isn't required) 😊 A Positive Attitude and a Smile!

What I provide

I bring Roll20 maps, tokens, content on D&D beyond as well as storylines and a positive attitude. Music is also provided by me! I use ambient music and combat tracks to help set the mood and try and get you in your character's head. I am a Rules meets Cool DM. I am almost always happy to allow a good idea at the table, and will reward quick thinking and roleplay decisions. We will default to Rules as Written in cases of disagreement, but I am more concerned about the narrative aspect of your story and will push for those.

Gameplay details

When it comes to player safety and comfort nothing is more important, pre-session every player will fill out an RPG Consent Checklist which will allow me to avoid triggers before the game even begins. Then every session zero includes letting players know any content warnings that may be present in the adventure and informing them about my open door, break and debrief policies. Players are also welcome at any time to either take breather or a break from the game, and at no point will they ever be asked to go into detail about ANYTHING they may not be comfortable with. Also, while the game is going on, if at any point a player needs content to stop immediately, they may hold up an X/N or type one in chat or private DM. This will allow me to make the necessary moves needed to make sure everyone continues to have a great time playing! Lastly, I am a huge believer in debriefing/aftercare. At the end of each session I will always hang around for anywhere between 15-30 minutes to chat about the session and to just generally hang out with anyone who wants to stick around! This is great for sessions where we may get into some heavier content so we can either discuss it or unpack it if need be! Remember, your comfort and your fun come first!

How will character creation work

Character will begin at level one with starting equipment and stats via point buy OR standard array! Characters can either be pre-made, or worked together with me, OR I do also have pre-generated characters available upon request! We will be using the 2014 PHB and it's expansions and partnered content is allowed as well. All homebrew and/or 2024 rulings will be on a case-by-case basis, so please reach out and we can make the character you are dreaming of!
