About me
I have come here to chew bubble gum and crush campaigns. And I'm all out of bubble gum! I love both roleplay and combat and tailor the ratio to the needs of the table. I've run a combat and exploration focused Tomb of Annihilation campaign as well as a roleplay heavy and whimsical Wild Beyond the Witchlight. I can be funny, silly, serious, or weird, and I'm not afraid to improvise and follow the need of players, even if that means going off the rails or side-questing on a whim. I've been running games on Startplaying for over 3 years and running home campaigns over 30 years. I have a ton of experience and I often bring my own stories, art, and maps to the table. Current Campaigns on Startplaying: Monday 10am EST - Crooked Moon Monday 2pm EST - Grim Hollow: Lairs of Etharis Tuesday 10am EST - Vecna: Eve of Ruin Tuesday 3pm EST - Call of the Netherdeep Wednesday 10am EST - Call of the Netherdeep Wednesday 2pm EST - Hoard of the Dragon Queen Thursday 7pm EST - Vecna: Eve of Ruin Friday 2pm EST - Call of the Netherdeep Completed Campaigns on Startplaying: Tomb of Annihilation Storm King’s Thunder Candlekeep (2x) Wild Beyond the Witchlight (3x) Spelljammer: Light of Xaryxis (3x) Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel (2x) Keys from the Golden Vault Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen (x2) Book of Many Things (Level 1-11) Adventure Academy (Level 1-10 homebrew) Planescape: Turn of Fortune’s Wheel x2 Curse of Strahd Liveplay Streams: Wild Beyond the Witchlight https://youtu.be/N_fFk-FZcE0?si=2z7wg4Ow6p8zPYN- Curse of Strahd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcJAqFFseKg&t=71s

Knows the Rules
DM Rah is a professional and kind GM that keeps things moving and is always helpful and patient with his player base. he amanges all NPC's and characters really well and it feels that you are in a world interacting with other people. The players he attracts are also very talented as well. Those playing in a DM Rah game will definitely get their money's worth and a proper DnD fix. He also seems to be open to any type of characters played by anyone regardless of race or alignment. We have had even, grung, yuan ti and goliaths pass through the hallowed halls of his games and contribute immensely. he also seems open to ideas of character oriented stories for each player.
Rah is one of the best out there! He's got great flexibility , keeps everyone involved, and is able to tell a strong story week through week. If you have the chance to join a one-shot or campaign of his do not hesitate! Rah is a professional at every level and its apparent by every session he spends a lot of his own time preparing for the next. He is very consistent and never cancels games, is always on time, runs an awesome discord with his players, and offers so much more. Thank you for over 3 years of Fun!
A fantastic GM. I've been with him for over a year and am on my 3rd campaign. Rah encourages roleplay by having the campaign focus on the characters. He finds ways to seamlessly and justifiably incorporate backstories and motives into the adventure. Even if you don't have a backstory, as long as you have an open mind and willingness to try, he'll help you make it work. He's inclusive, giving everyone a chance to shine. He also allows players to find creative solutions for problems, from subduing and interrogating enemies; to stakeouts and mysteries. Yet, he ensures things stay reasonable, so RAI/RAW exploits won't (always) fly. Having Rah as a GM is like having a fun, safe place to bring your PCs to life on a character-driven adventure, rather than if you're playing to "win" by acing every challenge while killing and looting every foe your encounter. Overall great GM, especially if you enjoy RP, co-op, and creativity.
