Creativity
As a queer woman I don't always feel welcome, that's never been the case at this table. Plus I've always had my ideas supported, if you want to make something cool happen with your character, they'll find a way for it to work so long as it doesn't ruin the game for anyone else. Just always been a great table!
Character creation
Creating your character
Character Creation is part of the Seminar.
1: What is D&D: We will discuss the history and nature of D&D. 2: Safety tools and communication: What are safety tools, how to use them, what to do in case of problems. 3: What are these dice thingies anyways: What are the different polyhedral dice used in D&D and why? 4: How to create a character: A step by step guide to your first character. • Finding Inspiration • Races • Classes • Backgrounds • What do all these numbers mean anyways 5: What are encounters: social vs combat encounters. Engagement and turn order. • Roleplaying (taking on the character) • Rollplaying (using the dice and maximizing) • Dungeoneering (how to survive traps) 6: Do’s and Don'ts of the Game Table: Some general rules of thumb to help you have a good time.
