Jack is a great gamesmaster, really staying in the moment with the players and allowing all the creativity and wonder that roleplaying deserves. As a game designer par excellence as well, he's able to think laterally and come up with all sorts of surprises, stretching the system he's using and stress testing it for maximum fun.
