Captain ran us through the Cosmere RPG, which was impressive given how new it is. He knew the lore and mechanics really well and was able to answer all of our questions. I love that he seems to run a lot of non-D&D games. I wish he had taught the rules up front, given we were all new to the system. We spent a lot of time looking up combat actions, which made the game feel slow. He also used Foundry VTT, which looked great, but had us pausing to figure out the interface more than once. All in all, a good GM with a solid grasp of the rules.

Jacob ran a Call of Cthulhu one-shot for us. He helped us through the rules, paced the scenario well, and left a lot of room for us to make our own decisions. He also spent time after the session to answer questions and give us room to share our thoughts. It was a very good experience and I look forward to playing one of his one-shots again.

Maia ran us through a new game system. Despite having very little time to learn the system, she was well-prepared and able to walk us through the system in an easy-to-follow manner, and even provided some good tips on how to build our own adventures in said system, all in under an hour.

Tom was great. He really set the mood with music, visuals, and strong narration and voices.

Played my first game of Mörk Borg with Emma. They were great at setting the scene and bringing the world to life. They also gave ample opportunity for us to shape the story ourselves.
