I've been playing in a paid D&D 5e campaign with John for the last two years, and it's been great. John is terrific at creating (or adapting published material for) challenging-but-fair encounters, with both interesting battlefield environments and foes, that have led to many memorable moments for our group. We've enjoyed thinking and strategizing our way through. The campaign has taken us from 1st to 13th level so far, and it's been fun and challenging throughout. John is familiar with the ins and outs of Roll20, and takes care to build good-looking maps with dynamic lighting. He keeps us well organized with notes and information in Discord. DM dice are almost always rolled in the open, which is a nice bit of trust. John knows the rules well, but is happy to take player input on rules interpretations, and makes rulings that seem fair, balanced, and fun. We've had some changes in players throughout the years, and John has been adept at handling these comings and goings, and the changing group dynamic and party balance. The game has remained reliable on a weekly basis, and John is always very well prepared. The players have enjoyed getting to know each other -- and John! -- but the sessions are normally pretty focused and we make a meaningful progress through the campaign each week.

I've been having a great time in a PbP with this GM. He's very active (especially on weekday afternoons and early evenings), very funny, and has an exceptionally well-organized campaign, with his own Discord server bot. He has an excellent sense of PbP pacing and keeps the story moving while still giving the players ample opportunity to entertainingly chew the scenery. He's managing a very interesting sandbox while still giving the players sufficient signposts to know where the "main" storyline is (even if we sometimes choose to cheerfully ignore it). This campaign has all of the strengths of a well-prepared and experienced GM and it's worth every bit it costs!

Ran a smooth and enjoyable play-by-post one-shot. Good writer, handled the game flow and mechanics well, and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend.

DameDeRosa is an excellent DM. He is technically extremely well prepared, and highly proficient with FantasyGrounds (and great at teaching how to use it, too). He was readily accessible for help with character creation, made sure that all players were properly set up gamewise (and with the technology) before the game. Gameplay ran smoothly in an exceptionally streamlined fashion. He ran a high-level one-shot D&D adventure that was interestingly varied despite being linear, and the well-paced 4+ hours went by in a flash. I enjoyed playing with him and would do so again in the future!
