Gamersaurus Lex

Amy is a delightful DM. She encourages lots of roleplay between the PCs and really sets the mood with music and voices that fit the vibe of the campaign. I joined a campaign with players who were in one or more of her other campaigns and the fun on Discord was every bit as much of the joy of the game as what was happening at the table. She is obviously a storyteller at heart and, as a paid GM on StartPlaying, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Chris is about the most approachable, comfortable, friendly GM you could ever hope to meet. As paid GM on StartPlaying, this is a GM I pay to spend my free time with. Everything just feels like it is happening so organically, as he weaves the story around our character choices and doles out the lore in just the right amounts and at just the right times. Combats are terrifying and quick; mysteries feel earned when we solve them; and Chris always gives us a few options instead of simply saying, "What do you do?"

Isaac is a phenomenal DM. He keeps the pace up and provides super interesting NPCs. We played Call of Cthulhu and I was on the edge of my seat as we delved deeper and deeper into the creepy mysteries! I'm a paid DM myself and Isaac really impressed me with helping new players navigate a complicated system. Highly recommend. 10/10 would play with him again!

Great GM, with a penchant for creative NPCs, atmospheric scenes, fun voices, monster sound effects and an entirely immersive experience. Seems like a real storyteller, but combat was brisk and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Sands really encourages the roleplaying without putting anyone on the spot. I was so comfortable playing in the game and felt welcomed from the first session. Great combination of drama and humor, with NPCs that felt like real people!
