About Amy
I'm twenty-three years old and have been playing and being a DM for less than a year. D&D has become my focus, as it gave me a meaning that nothing else has. D&D is more than just roleplaying; it gives you confidence, inspires you, and builds connections and skills to work as a team. I find that completely beautiful, which is why I want to run campaigns to see all types of characters and watch as you become a completely different person. Horror is a major focus point for the majority of campaigns, as I find that when thrown into something horrific, a lot of my players surprise me by seeing the good in the NPC, bringing hope or (mayhem), as it shows that while a campaign might be horror and dark, it doesn't have to be bleak and hopeless. I love getting to know my players, not only because it's important as a DM, but I believe it helps build trust so they feel like they are able to come to me with any issues, as sometimes I'm finding out that when you're a DM, sometimes they don't want to bother you with a problem, and I always say no problem is a silly problem if it's bothering you, and I love to have a chat, even if it's not about the campaign. I think in my heart I'm an entertainer and make sure everyone has a good time.

I became a GM because
i became one due to the fact I have a passion for watching how PCs change over the course of a campaign and watching as people build meaningful memories with one another which is special to see

How Amy runs games
I prefer storytelling over mechanics, and I plan things out to a degree, but at the end of the day, being a DM is about improvisation, since I can't plan for what you're going to do, and I find that amazing. Every choice you make in a campaign leaves a long-lasting consequence, so the stakes are there, and while I tend to favor a 60/40 split between roleplay and combat, I do adjust some things based on the preferences of my players.

When it comes to voices
I try my best to make each individual NPC sound unique, I might not be the best or individual but they are certainly trying as I'm teaching myself how to voice act
Amy's ideal table
So the vibe of the table I like is welcoming to all players, new and experienced, I like to encourage laughter as it can show that there is trust if you feel comfortable, in not just roleplaying, but showing your personality as a player, and players that enjoy getting into the campaign and wanting to know what's going to happen next
